To be a successful entrepreneur, it’s not enough to just play the role of a boss… you actually have to feel Boss.
What the heck do I mean by that? (And why is ‘Boss’ capitalized?)
When it’s capitalized, I use ‘Boss’ as a way to describe how being an entrepreneur should make me (and all bosses) feel every day.
Boss mindset: I am in control, confident, strong, and fearless. I have the perfect systems in place. I am making an impact on the world. I am daring and bold. I have what it takes to succeed beyond my wildest dreams. I am a serious badass.
If you don’t feel this way right now, don’t worry, it doesn’t mean that you haven’t achieved success in your business. But it does mean that you are being held back by a barrier that is preventing you from being even more successful!
To scale up, you have to Boss the shit out of your business. Seriously. No successful business model was built by half assing it, and no great entrepreneur works by only putting 50% of their effort in.
Boss mindset isn’t just important for scaling your current business, it’s for starting your first (or next) business too!
Do any of these sound familiar?
- You want to make some extra money on the side
- You want to quit your corporate job
- You want to be in charge of your work schedule
- You want the freedom to travel
- You want financial freedom so you’re not tied to your paycheck
- You want to avoid the rush hour commute
- You want to make a REAL impact on the world
…and the list goes on.
Ladies, these are all incredible reasons to start and grow your own business!
